New Educational Guide About Pleural Mesothelioma

Pleural mesothelioma is a disease caused from exposure to asbestos, a mineral that was once praised for being fireproof before its harmful effects were known. Unfortunately, due to the military's heavy reliance on asbestos, many veterans are currently suffering or are at risk of developing pleural mesothelioma. The military stopped using asbestos around the late 1980's, but a ton of damage was already done. Also, with the long latency period of this disease (20-50 years) many veterans are still at risk.
